Make Music Count
Make Music Count's mission is to use creativity to allow every student to reach their full educational potential. Make Music Count is a math curriculum and app taught through playing popular songs on the piano. In its lessons, 2nd - 12th grade students solve real math equations where the answers are musical notes to immediately play their favorite songs on a virtual piano. Make Music Count believes that every student should feel included during instruction and welcomed to the opportunity of being successful in the classroom.
Make Music Count is sponsoring GLAEF and LACOE because these [organizations] serve students that are just like me and simply need a creative and relevant way to approach understanding and learning mathematics. I'm excited to place our resource in front of these students to bring the success to this area...our unique approach to providing additional math practice in music settings for students I believe will really resonate well with the district leaders of [LA County].
