About the Scholarship
The Asian Pacific Heritage Group’s (APHG) Path to Success Scholarship honors students who’ve overcome significant challenges and continue to push forward with strength and purpose. Rooted in LACOE’s mission to help every student thrive, the scholarship shines a light on those who not only rise above adversity but also inspire those around them—especially the educators who have supported their journey. These students remind us of what’s possible when resilience meets opportunity, and why every step forward deserves to be recognized.
The Impact
Over the past 15 years, APHG’s Path to Success Program has recognized more than 100 outstanding students and awarded over $60,000 in scholarships. Every recipient has gone on to pursue post-secondary education, studying everything from engineering and education to business and the arts. Their success speaks to the heart of the program—supporting students with extraordinary potential who have overcome significant obstacles. The impact of this scholarship is seen not only in their academic achievements, but also in the leadership, creativity, and resilience they carry forward into their communities and careers.
