INGLEWOOD YOUTH EDUCATION FUND

The Inglewood Youth Education Fund (IYEF) at the Greater Los Angeles Education Foundation is a $12,750,000 endowment that was established to provide resources to nonprofit organizations and initiatives that benefit and address the educational needs of Inglewood Youth.

FUND PRIORITIES

  1. After-School Tutoring:  for Inglewood student tutoring and enrichment.

  2. Youth Innovation and STEM Design Camps: for developing and operating coding, science, technology, and engineering camps.

  3. Keeping Students in School: for discouraging Inglewood high school students from dropping out.

  4. Opening Pathways to College: for expanding counseling and supporting students seeking a post-secondary education.

  5. College Scholarships: for scholarships for Inglewood students with high financial need in the Inglewood Unified School District who are accepted for either a two-year or four-year college.

We want to learn about your work

Organizations with a history of work in Inglewood are invited to complete a short intake form capturing their focus, strategies, and existing programs. This form is part of an ongoing landscape analysis that will inform the strategy and goals for IYEF.
