Community Benefit Grantmaking

Inglewood Youth Education Fund

GLAEF is pleased to be the home of the new endowment, the Inglewood Youth Education Fund, a fund dedicated to the youth and students of the City of Inglewood. 


Programs to be funded by the new endowment include initiatives addressing the following five focus areas:


1. After-School Tutoring:  for Inglewood student tutoring and enrichment.

2. Youth Innovation and STEM Design Camps: for developing and operating coding, science, technology, and engineering camps.

3. Keeping Students in School: for discouraging Inglewood high school students from dropping out.

4. Opening Pathways to College: for expanding counseling and supporting students seeking a post-secondary education.

5. College Scholarships: for scholarships for Inglewood students with high financial need in the Inglewood Unified School District who are accepted for either a two-year or four-year college.
